From December 16, 2022 to January 18, 2023, in the gallery "Beraginya" on the second floor of the main building of the BNTU, a personal exhibition of paintings "Inspiration" was held, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the author of the works Svetlana Nikolaevna Shlapokova, an inspector of the pass office and chairman of the shop trade union organization of security workers of the BNTU .
The exhibition was organized by the Primary trade union organization of workers of the Belarusian National Technical University.
The exhibition presents paintings, narrative compositions, portraits, still lifes and landscapes that fascinate with their extraordinary pure beauty, brightness of colors and carry a charge of positive and positive energy. Surprisingly, Svetlana Nikolaevna is an amateur artist and has no classical art education. In 1982 she graduated from art school No. 2 in Minsk and only 20 years later she took up painting. In order to improve her creative level, she left for Moscow, where she took private painting lessons. She studied with the artist Igor Sakharov at the portrait course, then in St. Petersburg she studied with Olga Bazanova. She attended plein-airs with Dmitry Roza in the Crimea (Foros) at the course "seascape". Today Svetlana Nikolaevna is the author of more than eighty paintings, many of which are in private collections in Belarus, Russia and abroad.
The guests of honor of the BNTU, rector of the Minsk State Linguistic University N.E. Lapteva, representatives of the official delegation of the Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov (TSTU, Republic of Uzbekistan), rector Sadritdin Turabjanov, honorary professor of BNTU, vice-rector for international relations Ulugbek left their vivid impressions in the guest book Mannanov and our guests from the St. Elisabeth Monastery of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, as well as employees and students of BNTU.
