Today, on June 13, a meeting with the delegation of the People's Republic of China from the University of Inner Mongolia was held at the STE BNTU “Polytechnic”. The purpose of the visit was to sign an agreement on a joint training program for students from Hohhot.
For reference: in 1997, the University of Inner Mongolia was included in the list of the 100 best universities in China. The educational institution includes 15 institutes, 41 faculties, 58 specialties with bachelor's degrees, 17 doctoral courses, 61 master's courses, and a master's degree in administrative management.
The delegation from the University of Inner Mongolia included President of the Pioneer College Bao Guangkai, Dean of the Faculty of International Education of the Pioneer College Zhang Miao, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Engineering, Head of the Department of Automation Liu Yongxin, Deputy Director of the educational and research Department of the specialty "automation" Li Jiliang.
The negotiations from the Belarusian side were conducted by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Olga Dashkevich, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics Andrey Avsievich, Head of the Department of Robotic Systems Alexey Borodulya, Head of the Department of the Faculty of International Cooperation Inna Khatskevich.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation visited the exhibition exposition of the technopark, where they got acquainted with the developments of leading BNTU scientists in the field of medicine, instrumentation, and metallurgy. The delegation from China. paid a strong interest in cooperation in these spheres.
Further negotiations took place, during which the Belarusian National Technical University and its research potential were presented to the guests.
– The mission of our university is to train highly qualified specialists using high–quality equipment and to raise a person with high spiritual and moral qualities, - said Yuri Nikolaychik.
At the end of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed, which involved the creation of a joint educational program for international students at BNTU.
