On June 7th, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has officially opened the National Football Stadium in Minsk. For the capital, this is not the first major sports facility that our friends from China have built. The opening ceremony was held in a special symbolic atmosphere, emphasizing the harmony of Belarusian and Chinese colors. It is worth noting that it is rare to see a Chinese artist performing the famous "Kupalinka" in pure Belarusian. During the ceremony, Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee Zhang Jiasheng handed the Belarusian leader a symbolic key, which Alexander Lukashenko then handed to the players of the Belarusian youth national team. The first match at the new stadium is being played by young athletes: the national team of Belarus U-21 meets with the national team of China U-22.
