On September 25, 2025, on the basis of secondary school No. 4Soligorsk (https://sch4.edus.by/) a career guidance event was held aimed at informing schoolchildren about the importance and relevance of technical specialties in the labor market.
Andrey Kologrivko, Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering, spoke about the areas of study at the Belarusian National Technical University and, in particular, at the faculty, as well as employment prospects for future specialists in the mineral resource sector of the economy.
The meeting was attended by high school students, including those from engineering.
An important component of the meeting was the communication of schoolchildren with students and teachers of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering to obtain practical information about the educational process and student life, to form realistic expectations and strengthen the desire to enter the university.
The students received valuable guidelines for further professional self-determination for a confident step towards a conscious choice of a life path.
