In 2024 and 2025, two seasons of the «School of the Popularizer of Science» project took place, bringing together experienced public speaking coaches and other reputable experts, as well as 28 young scientists from universities and scientific organizations in Belarus. The project was created to help aspiring educators learn how to talk about complex scientific ideas in a simple, engaging and accessible way for a wide audience.
During the training, the participants underwent intensive training, delivered popular science lectures as part of five graduation ceremonies at the best outdoor venues in the city, took part in a number of other events and actively interacted with the media. The interest in the project turned out to be impressive — more than 120 publications about graduates and their work were published in the press.
The organizers — the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the team of the «Science Festival» and the staff of the BNTU Library — announce the recruitment for the new season of the «School of the Popularizer of Science».
