On March 4, 2026, the program "Glorious Women of the Belarusian Land" was presented to students at BNTU Dormitory No. 11. The program introduced participants to the lives of outstanding women who played a key role in the history, science, and culture of Belarus. Students learned about legendary figures from different eras: from the enlightener Euphrosyne of Polotsk, Princess Rogneda, and Princess Anastasia of Slutsk to the heroines of the Great Patriotic War—Vera Khoruzhaya and Elena Mazanik, whose heroic deeds are forever inscribed in the annals of the Great Victory. Particular attention was paid to our contemporaries: Olympic champion Darya Domracheva, the first female cosmonaut of Belarus, Marina Vasilevskaya, as well as outstanding figures in science and culture.

Since the beginning of the academic year, the Information and Library Services Department has been conducting patent search training sessions for students studying the "Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Management" course. The training sessions cover the international patent classification and teach how to search for information on inventions, utility models, industrial designs, and trademarks using the library's collection of information publications.
Students receive expert assistance in working with official patent bulletins and electronic resources of the BNTU Scientific Library. A book exhibition related to the training session has also been prepared.

Bearing standards play an important role in industry, as they establish uniform requirements for dimensions and tolerances, ensuring the interchangeability of parts from different manufacturers. This unification allows engineers to design complex mechanisms with confidence in the precise fit and stable operation of each rotating assembly.

Bearings are available for viewing in the Reading Room for Technical Regulatory Legal Acts and Engineering Design at the Scientific Library (16 Ya. Kolasa St., Office 201).

Last time, we fled from fear, but it didn't leave us alone. So we must steel ourselves, turn to face it, and look again into its large, unblinking eyes. As they say, fear has big eyes. But there's only one of us, and there are many of us. So now let it fear itself!
Meeting Topic: "Existential Fear 2."
At the last meeting of the terrifying club, we plunged into the abyss of many forms of fear. First, there was the fear of leaving nothing behind, not even the slightest trace. Then we were troubled by the fear of being misunderstood by our loved ones, and hence the numbness before taking the first step. And how we suffered from the fear of losing our own value to ourselves... And maybe we wanted to make this important choice, but even that was terrifying for us, because what if the choice was wrong... And all would be fine, but what if, due to intense anxiety, our minds abandon us in a difficult hour, and the fear of going crazy drags us into the abyss, consuming our already fragile existence?.. Yes, we saw many fears that day. But there are others, no less serious, ahead. And we will fight back against each one, rationalize each one, and strive to overcome it. There is no other way. Do you know how to fight fear? Can you overcome it?
Come and explore this daunting topic. A courageous mind striving for the truth is welcome.
