"To turn uncertainty into clarity." The open day for pedagogical classes was held at the IPF

«Превратить неуверенность в ясность». День открытых дверей для педагогических классов прошел на ИПФ

As part of the capital's "Education for Education" project, on March 28, 2026, the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty held an open day with students in specialized pedagogical classes aimed at making an informed choice of their future profession.

For reference: The main goal of the project is to enhance the professional development of students in specialized pedagogical classes in Minsk through their active introduction to the educational environment of a leading pedagogical university and their future profession. As part of the project, students will be systematically introduced to the specifics of the university's faculty, have the opportunity to meet and interact with deans, department heads, and faculty, and participate in master classes, educational quests , training sessions, open lectures, and practical and laboratory work alongside other students.

The meeting was interactive. Ekaterina Orlova, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy, presented BNTU in general, focusing on the demand for specialists with technical and pedagogical education. She also focused the high school students' attention on the 2026 admissions campaign rules, the conditions and benefits of targeted training, and highlighted the issue of admission for graduates of specialized classes without entrance examinations.

For reference: Students who studied in specialized classes with a professional focus (pedagogical) should remember several requirements for admission to BNTU. To be admitted to the university without entrance examinations, such graduates must: have a certificate with grades of at least 8 in specialized subjects (physics, mathematics) and at least 7 in other subjects; receive a recommendation from the pedagogical council of the general secondary education institution; and successfully pass an interview at the higher education institution based on the list of questions established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The faculty's student body spoke about student life at the faculty and their participation in faculty and BNTU events.

At the end of the event, school and high school students were invited to take an online quiz , "Your Profession: Teaching," and solve a crossword puzzle.

Zlata Panchu, an 11th-grader at Secondary School No. 42, noted that the meeting helps transform "uncertainty into clarity." Instead of reading dry brochures, having the opportunity to interact directly with teachers and students is the best way to learn about studying, exams, and life outside of class.
