Today, May 9, at Lakeside Park, representatives of the Belarusian National Technical University took part in the military-sports game "Strength and Courage" among enterprises and organizations of the Sovietsky District of Minsk. The large-scale competition was organized by the district administration and military commissariat and timed to coincide with the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
The university was represented at the competition by a close-knit team of seven university employees. The team included Diana Lupenko, Dmitry Medushka, Eduard Vanyuk, Petr Fedorenko, Yuri Lipovka, Nikolai Grishankov, and Elena Azarkevich. At each stage, the BNTU representatives demonstrated confidence, a will to win, and coordinated work, which enabled them to successfully overcome all challenges.
The event was a true test of strength and teamwork for all participants. The game included six different stages, requiring not only excellent physical fitness but also a high level of discipline. The teams' final scores were determined by their time to complete the course and the accuracy of their tasks, with penalty points awarded for errors.
Following the competition, the BNTU team demonstrated the best result and took a respectable first place. This victory was a clear confirmation that our university staff are not only professionals in their field but also active participants in the region's sports life, honoring traditions and demonstrating courage in fair competition.
We sincerely congratulate the Polytechnic University team on their victory and wish them continued success. Such results on this great occasion inspire the entire university staff to greater heights.
