Researchers from Secondary school No. 108 in Minsk continue to work in the laboratories of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering, studying mining mechanisms in the development of mineral deposits by open and underground methods. Together with Grigory Basalai, a senior lecturer at the "Mining Machinery" Department, and Daniel Karpovich, a 3rd-year student specializing in "Mining Machinery and Equipment for Mining Industries", the students delved into the study of the patterns of air flow and their interaction with moving bodies and obstacles, conducting tests on a laboratory wind tunnel installation.
The formation of knowledge in environmental management and ecology is the most important area of education in the interests of sustainable development of society in the field of lean and efficient use of production factors. This is achieved, among other things, by teaching the basics of engineering disciplines.
The need and ability to acquire additional knowledge in the subjects of school curricula contribute to the further growth of the student's personality in society. The Junior School at the FMEE is an opportunity to touch real engineering science through interactive learning and project activities.
